Matrox Graphics Inc. (Montreal, Canada), a manufacturer of professional graphics solutions, announced its intention to support Public Information Display and Digital Signage markets. Matrox multi-display graphics cards reportedly offer stability and reliability for displaying critical information, or deliver targeted messages to customers with imagery on multiple displays in various configurations from single or multiple cards.
Products include: Matrox QID, a compact, AGP-based, custom 6.5-in. graphics card, is equipped with the company’s multi-display feature-set including customizable unattended install, second generation Matrox MultiDesk (MMD), Matrox Multi-Pivot/Portrait and Matrox Multi TV out.
The quad-display Matrox QID Pro is PCI-based and equipped with MMD and Matrox Multi-Pivot/Portrait, support for OpenGL-driven applications, and includes 256MB of onboard memory.
Matrox QID Low-profile PCI half-length 128 MB card supports Matrox's quad digital and analog feature-set such as customizable unattended install, second generation MMD and Matrox Multi-Pivot/Portrait. The QID Low-profile PCI also features a novel KX 20 connector to quad DVI-I with four DVI-VGA adaptors.
