OSRAM Opto Semiconductors Inc. announced the use of its Pictiva™ line of organic light-emitting diode (OLED) graphic display products displays in the high-end audio market. OSRAM’s OLED technology has been chosen by Fairlight, a digital audio developer, for integration into Fairlight’s new audio mixing system.

Fairlight has chosen OSRAM’s 96 x 64 pixel graphics Pictiva OLED display for use in its new Constellation-XT, an integrated, large format audio mixer and multi-track editor. Fairlight will incorporate 72 individual Pictiva displays in its new In-line Channel Panel (ILP) on the mixing surface to provide visual enhancements to the mixing surface design. Passive matrix viewing now includes Elegance Yellow coloration with a contrast ration of 100:1.
