The backlights may be customized in range of diagonal spans from ¼ to 4.7 in. The company’s patented pixel-based, light-extraction technology, MicroLens®, reportedly offers the most efficient usage of new-generation LED energy. Brightness for a 1.5-in.-diagonal module measures approximately 2,400 cd/m2. Further, they offer low energy consumption (20mA at 3.5V) and 80-85% light uniformity.
