ActiveLight Inc. is seeking entries from digital signage resellers, dealers and integrators for the Digital Signage Awards. All entries must be received by Friday, January 28.
The newly named DIGI Awards include a $1,000 Visa gift card to winners in each of nine categories, to be presented to providers who have gone the extra mile to ensure success of digital signage applications for their clients.
Entry information is available at www.activelight.com. Three awards will be made in each of three categories: retail, transportation and corporate installations. These categories will then be divided into three divisions: under five screens, six to 25 screens and more than 25 screens.
The awards will be judged by five recognized journalists and leaders in the digital signage industry: Darek Johnson, senior technology editor of Signs of the Times; David Keene, executive editor of Systems Contractor News and award chairperson; Mark Mayfield, editor of Pro AV; Pete Putman, senior editor of Studio and Film and Video; and David A. Silverman, editor of Sound & Communications.
In addition to the $1,000 Visa Gift card, the winners of each division will receive an engraved glass trophy, and a DIGI Award Winner 2005 graphic suitable for use on their Websites and in marketing materials. All partners including those involved in the software, content, fixture and hardware of the winning installations will receive a certificate in recognition of their contribution.
The DIGI Awards, presented by ActiveLight and publishing sponsor Systems Contractor News, are the first industry awards recognizing the outstanding resellers, dealers and integrators of digital signage, ActiveLight reports.
